The University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) is a public research university located in Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States. Established in 1965, UCCS is one of four campuses within the University of Colorado system and is the only graduate research institution in Southern Colorado. With over 11,000 students, including more than 9,000 undergraduates and nearly 2,000 graduate students as of Fall 2023, UCCS offers a wide array of academic programs.

Academics


UCCS provides over 100 degree options, encompassing 50 undergraduate, 24 graduate, and seven doctoral degrees. The university is classified among "R2: Doctoral Universities – High research activity". Key faculties include the College of Letters, Arts & Sciences, the Helen and Arthur E. Johnson Beth-El College of Nursing and Health Sciences, the College of Business and Administration, the College of Education, the College of Public Service, and the College of Engineering and Applied Science. Notable programs include engineering and business, with initial university programs having focused on these areas due to ties with Hewlett-Packard. The College of Engineering and Applied Science offers a unique Bachelor of Innovation, which received the 2008 ASEE new program innovation award.

International Students


UCCS International Affairs (IA) supports international education for the campus community, offering services such as Education Abroad and International Student and Scholar Services.
